I was also new to blogging about a year ago, so I totally understand the need for suggestions and all. There's plenty of posts out there telling you how to blog, but the best way to do it is to follow your heart and do what feels like you. Read a few posts from the bloggers you love to read, and take tips from them.
At least, that's what I do. :) And it works for me.
If you need help, ideas, opinions etc., don't hesitate to ask - me, or anyone else - bloggers are glad to help each other out. :)
And the most important thing is: Have fun with blogging, it's an amazing thing to have in your life. :)
